Delete your account and data

Data on your phone

Your photos, your recent position, downloaded areas and settings are stored only on your phone. Deleting the app deletes all of it. You can also remove downloaded areas in the app (menu → Areas).

Your View Scanner account

If you have signed in to keep your purchases, you can delete your account in the app (menu → Settings → Account → Delete account), or by emailing us from the address linked to your account, or telling us your account details, at support@viewscanner.app.

When your account is deleted we delete your account identifier, any email address, your credit balance, the list of areas you have unlocked and the purchase records we hold, within 30 days. Purchases cannot be restored after this. Apple and Google keep their own records of your payments under their policies.

Diagnostics you sent us

If you used "Send diagnostics" in a test version, email us the approximate date and we will delete what you sent. We delete diagnostics after 12 months in any case.
